Went pretty well I think. This one was very informal, being used to draw up a short list for another round of interviews next week.
He explained how the process will work, then started asking about the work I do now, and have done in the past. 14 years is a long time at the same company so that was good, I am trained and experienced in every section, so it wouldn't matter what section I would be set to manage. He asked about flexibility, I pointed out (well mentioned) that's not a problem, I already work any shift I am needed on often without the usual 24 hours notice.
He was making notes the whole time, and actually hi-lighted my cover-letter where I mention working with "business partners and clients", mentioning only one of the current managers does that. Then the usual computer literacy, stuff like that.
Oddest question, what would I do if two of my staff got into a physical fight. I'd call security and send the other staff for a brew 'till its clear, what else would you do? Still the first one to get it right.
