Interview with BP

Core values, read up on big ongoing projects, look at areas you might be interested in.

Also, from someone in the sector, SAFETY SAFETY SAFETY. Always **** hot on that as well as ensuring you hold the bannister on any set of stairs you traverse in their building ;)

It's OK on site, as long as you can find a way to the ICBT that hasn't been flooded! :p

Know the five values and how you apply them - should have already done a bit of this in the main application form. I'm not sure too much about the scholarship interviews but make sure that you can demonstrate good scientific thinking - basic physics/chemistry knowledge and a methodology to break down complex information into small, simple tasks.

mate works for them and loves it. its a company that has real opportunities available the world over. Loved it when he lived in houston. Aberdeen wasnt so glamorous but the fishing was better!

Had it Monday. Found out today that I was successful. Many opportunities with BP coming my way I'm told! Thanks for all the help guys!

Excellent news. They take on a high number of graduates from summer internships, so keep your grades high and get one of those and you'll likely be set for a graduate job too.

Cool should be fine if you keep your head down, we tend to go for more 'normal' people rather than the robot types . I've been here 8 yrs now since joining on grad scheme (engineering)

Great opportunities including travel, currently in Moscow for the 7th time since September.

What is it you do within BP if you don't mind me asking?

Just tell them global warming is a myth and there has been a 'pause' for the last 15 year that has absolute nothing to do with ENSO, honest, and CO2 is a harmless trace gas.
