Anyone else on here caught there partner in the great web known as the internet? I met Kayleigh 9 months ago on faceparty and now we live together

Heh, occasionally get the odd fling. Nothing serious. My cousin proposed to his current girlfriend before meeting her! Nutter tbh.

well, basically got to know my ex via msn, as we met at a uni open day, got on well, exchanged msn addresses, then continued chatting on msn, got ot know each other very well, and when we met in person again, hit it off brilliantly. Unfortunately, one problem with this was that distance seemed irrelevant. We realised after a bit that it wasn't :(

Dated someone who I'd never met 'IRL' a couple of times, after spending months chatting on MSN. Problem was the anonymity of the Intartubes meant that I was not exactly the same person as that online, and neither was she, so when we met up we really didn't have anything in common.

I met a girl over the interweb once, problem being it was a little too long distance for it to work indefinately. Lasted a while though (just under a year).

I met Law via the psi forums about six years ago...We got together four years ago and we've been living together for nearly two years.

I'm exactly the same online as I am in person so I've never had that kind of problem.

I'm awesome.

Had a fling from Faceparty when I used it for a few months, stayed away from anything like that after that though. Real life > internet. Fact.

You're looking in the wrong place.

...Either that or you have serious woman issues.

Coool, me too!

I met someone from th'interweb and whilst it was unfamiliar at first it soon became comfortable.

I realised that where I am very comfortable on here I am more brash than I would be with a person who meets me for the first time.

Met my wife on t'internet web thingy.

Talked on the net for a few months, before meeting up in person, dated for about eighteen months and have been married five years now and all is good.

That can't be a real name! It looks like an acid-inspired blending of Karen and Raleigh. :p

tis a very popular name thanks to Marillion! Girl I work with was named after that

Interweb relationships are very common now, nothing unusual in it at all. I know several couples who met and married people they met in forums/chatrooms/dating sites - usually the only problems occur immediately (ie she looks more like a 20 stone Russian Shot Putter than her photograph, or he looks like Bernard Manning rather than Brad Pitt!) or when distance comes into it.

my step bro met some bird on t'net nows hes married and had a kid with her

hes never right and neithers she.... :D

i think if you need the net to meet women then your not normal
