Invitation for a third interview

Well I passed the telephone interview and it seems I have passed the personal interview today.

My question is what would my competition be like now? I'm guessing there will not be that much competition now as they would have eliminated the unlikely candidates earlier.

I'm guessing there is a third interview because the Development Support Manager is in holidays this week and they want me to meet her. That's what it said in the interview.

Yeah. I forgot to add that I would be doing some problem solving tasks and such with the manager. Any tips?

Solve the problems.

More seriously, if they give you a problem, whilst you think about it verbalise what you are thinking. Don't just sit there in blank silence.

If you don't know the answer, say that you don't know - and explain how you would go about finding the answer.

Could well just be you, and the manager wants to see you before an offer is sent. That happened to me in the last position I got, the director just wanted to see me for himself and give me a once over before he approved the budget for the post.

Let me guess, you're going for some entry level job in a call centre? I blame the BBC's Apprentice, ever since then companies think they have to employ some Krypton Factor style test before taking on so much as a janitor.

Can't we have low unemployment back? That way all these 23 stage interviews would be gone.
