I recently bought a car with this Handsfree kit already installed.......has anyone got any knowledge of this ?
It kind of only half works.......when i turn the ignition on i get the voice notification that my phone is
1. Detected
2.Connected
There is also a battery operated remote control unit that doesn't seem to work. Although the buttons illuminate they dont do anything when pushed.
Bluetooth on my phone detects 2 io devices, the main device which it connects to automatically. The second i assume to be the remote which wont connect due to an incorrect passkey.
I did manage to find instructions for this device but it basically says pair your phone and enter 0000 as passkey. I get no request for a passkey on either - one connects automatically the other say incorrect passkey with no option to enter one.
As much as i my phone works through it, i have to manually dial and answer my phone as the the remote device does't work as this allows the voice calling remote answering etc i assume
