Ios7 jailbreak out

Just jailbroken a 5S and iPad Air no problem.

Just need to wait for apps to be updated now but cydia loads fine, really fast too I might add on both devices especially as my last jailbroken phone was a 4S.

Should not take too long hopefully for apps to be supported as not much works on 64bit devices.

Also it comes from Chinese backing so I'm waiting until the code is analysed and there's no backdoors or anything harmful. Take all this as you want, just my opinion coming from someone who has been jailbreaking devices since my iPhone 3G.

The only thing included in the jailbreak from the Chinese backing was a third party app store, but the deal has gone south and the item in question removed from the jailbreak after it was found that the app store served pirated apps.

Jailbreak is running smoothly on my iPhone 5 and iPad retina. Cydia hasn't thrown any problems yet...

The new substrate isn't out yet if that's what you mean.

iPhone 5 and below can install quite a few tweaks now but I've found that practically nothing but f.lux works on 5s.

Anyone got any 5s compatible tweaks?

So guys, whats the real benefit to this?

I picked up an iPad air a few weeks ago and I'm wondering if its worth jailbreaking yet?

Im holding off JB'ing my Air until Im sure it is working.. I might try to wifes 4S though, if she lets me. :)

Yeah that is what I meant. Think I'll hang fire for a bit still.

The GBA and Nintendo DS emulators is all that i have found to work. Things with their own specific icon seem to have a slightly higher chance of working vs. tweaks that run through the settings menu. Even then some still don't work.

My jailbreak seemed to work second time around, the first time it froze before it finished and caused a few problems. Just make sure your device is backed up beforehand.

With Substrate now updated on IOS I have gone ahead and JB'ed by iPad Air 4G, and everything seems to be working just fine.. Process was very smooth, you dont even have to boot the device into DFU Mode.

Im holding off doing my iPad2 GSM until I know for sure it wont cause a boot loop.. (A new version of the JB has been released but I would like to get confirmation before I upgrade from IOS6 to 7. :))

Kermit: It has.. As published on his Twitter account this morning:

"Substrate 0.9.5000 has been released, with support for iOS 7 and ARM64. (For extensions to work on ARM64, they must be recompiled to ARM64.) about 4 hours ago"
