IP camera software

Is there any decent free software that will allow me to login and view a webcam and listen to microphone?

I'm guessing I would have to open some ports aswell to view from the internet.

Would like it to be password protected aswell.

I would just buy an IP camera but I can't really be bothered, sticking a cheap webcam out the window is going to be fine.

Best one I have used http://www.ispyconnect.com/ may work for you. The web interface is a bit flakey but it can be password protected.
