Hi Guys this should be a simple question for you I think. I have my phone line going into an SmartAX MT882 then an ethernet from that to an Asus RT-AC66U Router which then transmits receives WiFi. I want to change some settings in the Asus Router but when I type in 192.168.1.1 it takes me to the MT882 router settings and I want to get into the Asus.

Any help appreciated.

Thnx Lee.

You could try a trace route from the command line "'tracert bbc.co.uk", it might show up but the odds are it might have the same ip so you'll not be able to connect to it without directing connecting to it.

Thnx Guys, using the router.asus.com worked. Don't think the Tracert would work on this laptop as it's running Ubuntu. Need to sort my windows gaming rig out over xmas as i've left it to dry for over a month now after the tubing came off the pump and filled it with coolant. Think I got away with it but not 100% lol.

Couldn't get the Traceroute to work, im still trying to work out Linux as a new user. I worked out 192.168.1.1 brings up the MT and 192.168.2.1 brings up the Asus so i take it that is their IP's and there is no conflict. Know this is a noob question lol.

Also if it helps the Asus software is telling me 192.168.2.1 is the LAN IP and 192.168.1.5 is the WAN IP.

Many thnx.

Everything seems to be working fine anyway. :)
