Chums,

If one was using uTorrent with which to download torrents, what could one do to ensure that no one snoops on what you are doing?

Is PeerBlock good enough on its own?

I am using win 7 pro 64 bit. ALso on Virgin 50meg, do they snoop on my 'packets'?

In the long run none of these will ever work unless they have someone releasing the IPs of all the spying organisations (which is unlikely). You're better off switching to safer alternative/private torrent sites I'd imagine.
