Hi guys,
Just put an IP35 Pro XE into my other machine. It has a Freezer 7 Pro and an E4300. Everything is stock at the moment.
According to the BIOS, the CPU temp whilst in the BIOS is 54c. As a result, in Windows, it constantly kicks the fan in and out.
I presumed at first the heatsink wasn't seated correctly so I took it all apart, redid the AS5, reinstalled. No change.
Interestingly, CoreTemp run within Windows reckons both cores are just 32c.
So whats going on here? Which is the more accurate temperature? I always thought Coretemp was more accurate and would normally show HIGHER temps than the motherboards CPU temp monitor?
Could I have a faulty motherboard?
Thanks!
