i have a new setup with this board

q6600
4 x 1gb geil 6400 low latency
corsair 520w
wd raptor 150

i enter the bios and up the voltage to 2v for the ram and set the timings to 4-4-4-12

i also set the boot order to boot to optical drive which is detected then hdd.

everything is fine until i save and reboot, the system takes 5-6 seconds at 'verifying dmi pool data' then the keyboard is disabled, caps lock etc doesnt register. it then boots to optical drive and asks push any key to boot from cd, but as the keyboard is disabled i cant.

any idea how to get around this?

Not very technical but as a quick workaround do you have a PS2 adapter for the keyboard? There probably is something in the bios options like "disable USB devices during boot" but since I don't have the motherboard I can't check for sure. :)
