both the rom drives works ok in my other PC (is actually an abit IP35 pro board too!).
I've taken my LG drive out of my other pc and placed it in this new pc... i smelt something funny (electrical burning).
I've checked the SATA connections on the OCZ psu, and there are only two ports that the 2 sata cables can connect to and the pin configuration is unique to any other connection.
My LG dvdrom drive would also not work in the new pc
the hard drives on the other sata connection seem to be ok (hense i can still get into windows no problem).
