IP35 Raid Help!

OK I had a dual boot system with both Vista and XP sat on a 500GB drive and a 1TB drive using Raid.

At the weekend Vista started Blue screening for no reason.

I did all the troubleshooting etc and Vista told me the BIOS was out of date.

I updated the BIOS and then decided to reset the setting back to when I got the machine from OC.

Big mistake! This turned off Raid. I then booted into XP and it saw 4 drives instead of 2. Then I turned Raid back on and it recognised the array but the system wouldn't boot.

I turned it back off and the same problem.

Now if I use a boot cd I can get to the data I need to get off the machine, however I really would like to get this back up and running without having to reinstall everything.

Has anyone here broken there Raid setup then sucessfully got it back?

Updating the BIOS shouldn't break the RAID.

Did you clear the CMOS after updating the BIOS? And are you sure that the RAID is set to the top of the hard drive list.

Sorry should have updated this as am posting a new thread.

All was setup correctly, but the RAID volume just didn't want to play ball.

I ended up manaully backing up all my data then reinstalling the OS.

Maybe your overheating, have you checked the CPU temps?

If its an OCUK PC when maybe the OC isnt working properly.
