IPad Air

Hello,
I literally am brand new to apple. I have just ordered an ipad air.
Now my question is, and i do apologies if i am sounding completely thick.
On android i can go to the play store and look at the apps available within my browser. Can i do that on a browser for apple? If so can you point me in the right direction as i am struggling.

I should add, i have downloaded itunes, however its only showing music/tv books etc.

I would prefer the teasing to be kept to a minimum.

There’s no official method.
There are some fan sites which do similar with app links, however nothing really for the Uk afaik

There’s an App Store built into the iOS.
