iPad docking station

I was hoping to find something like the Samsung multimedia dock (but for iPads of course). Plan to have a 2tb usb plugged in, monitor and possibly a few sundries.

Seen some really dodgy looking 6-1 adapters from China, but don't think they work with later versions of IOS.

Ideally I want something I can just leave the tablet in when at home, but pick it up and go when time to leave.
 
For anyone else looking into this it's a no go.

Impossible to use a HDMI cable and some form of storage at the same time.

The Lightning connection just isn't versatile or fast enough. The 12" iPad Pro has a usb 3.0 enabled lightening connector, but no other ipads have.

Oddly the old 30pin iPads, do have 3rd party multi-port adapters and docks available.

Options are to try and do things wirelessly or just go Android.
