Got an ipad mini from a family member that is icloud locked (not stolen) would replacing the logic board from another unlocked donor mini be all i would have to do to get it running again?

I have done repairs before just want to know if it's possible?

If the family member has any proof of purchase you can take that to any apple store along with the ipad and they will unlock it for you.
