Ipad mini new user help

Hi
just got our first Apple product (Mini) and each time I install a new App or basically do anything it wants my apple user ID password

getting pretty tiresome filling this in all the time

be doing a few google searches and in
settings>general>restrictions I think the answer lies in here somewhere but the ipad is set to enable restrictions???

if I enable this it wants a pin number etc
not sure what should be done to get rid of this annoyance
all help gratefully received please

If you enabled a passcode on your ipad, it is the same for unlocking restrictions.

AFAIK it can't be disabled.

To be honest, thats normal behaviour for purchases.

So the free apps every time I want a new one I have to sign in
on a couple of the downloads it wanted the password to download it.. then again to install it
basically I would get rid of all passwords on this device if I knew how

Even if it's a free download you'll be asked for your store password.

I find it annoying... I have a bunch of Android things and none have tto feed in passwoerds endlessly
the ipad mini is a good little device but has a few quirks I dont like the above being one of them

The password requirements were more strictly enforced after a few high-profile cases of kids buying 'in app purchases' and racking up huge bills.

Just get used it, it's a good system really.
