Hi guys,

Odd one this, noticed my internet was slow on multiple Windows/Android devices especially with www.speedtest.net.

Did a bit of experimenting and found of when the iPad is on the net speed plummets.

From 26 ms ping/3.43 Mbps download/0.67 Mbps upload with iPad off
to 2036 ms ping/0.11 Mbps download/0.11 Mbps upload with iPad on.

Any idea why Apples kit is causing this? and how to stop it???

Ta

Paul

I've a Virgin SuperHub and find that the speed and even the network dies for the iPad and iPhone for upto 1hr. A HP Laptop is also affected, but a Macbook Pro is not.

Some chipset issue or perhaps something a little more obvious, like router signal attenuation (conflicting with other networks nearby)?

Had a channel shifty around, but nothing helps. But it only happens with the iPad on, madness! it's not like it's actually downloading anything either.. lol
