ipconfig will not run

Hi all im trying to run ipconfig but all that happens is a black screen quickly flashes up and thats it

Are you just running it from the run box ? If you are run the CMD command first and then run ipconfig from the command window that appears (the black box)

Are you trying to run ipconfig from the Start>Run? Try running cmd from Start>Run and then running ipconfig that way.
