Iphone 3G and jailbreakme.com - a few questions

Hi

I am looking to Jailbrake my Iphone 3G which is running on OS4.0 through www.jailbreakme.com. As far as i am aware all you do is just go to the site on your phone and follow the instructions. However i have a few concerns.

- Is it really that simple?

- Is this going to clear all my current apps?

- If I have to restore am I going to lose my apps and numbers

Are you definitely running 4.0 rather that 4.0.2?

Yes. It is that simple.
None of your apps will be deleted
If you backup your phone through iTunes first, everything will be saved and you can restore that backup to get everything as it was.

Cool ill give it a go and let u know how i get on. It says 4.0 and when i connect to Itunes is say do u want to update to 4.0.2 so yeah

When you have Cydia installed remember to press make my life simple tab to back up your SHSH blobs.
