Iphone 3g problems

hello people


I got a iphone 3g, basically i lost it and got the phone barred and found it after. So o2 unbarred the phone. Since then i cant seem to get no reception all i get is no service on the top left.

Ive tried to restore the firmware but all it says waiting for activation. This may take some time.

But nothing happens. Is there a way to manually force the activation on a mac?

Sounds like O2 have cocked something up, best speak to them. Or if you want to talk to sentient humans, take it to an Apple store....

have they canceled your sim card?

try another known good sim card in the phone from o2 and activate that, if its still not working book an appointment, but otherwise get o2 to replace your sim card
