Yesterday I updated my iPhone to 4.0 but it did not go too well I think, here is what happened.
First iTunes made a backup of my iPhone, that took hours so I left it.
When I came back iTunes said my iPhone was locked and I needed to do something so I tried unlocking the phone but didn't work so I unplugged it and found I was missing everything, apps, e-mail, settings etc
So I reconnected and iTunes started to put my apps and MP3's back which took a long time again, when it was finished I had to activate again, normal?
Now I have iOS 4.0 and my apps/mp3/pictures back but all the apps are rearranged, all old texts are gone, all saved e-mails are gone, all settings are at default and for some reason all pictures are a crappy quality.
Is it normal that all settings/apps are back to default when updating an iPhone?
