Iphone 3gs reset problem

Ive just sold my iphone 3gs 16gb. So I took all my pic and numbers off and did a reset of media under settings. However now the phone just shows the white apple logo and has done for last 2 hours. I let teh battery run down and then charged up a bit an still frezzes on tt white apple screen. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Any ideas?

Connect to iTunes and hold both home and sleep/wake until it pops up and perform a restore.

Had to do just this yesterday. OP try and reset a jailbroken iPhone by any chance?
