iphone 3gs version 3.1.2 software

im trying to update my iphone in itunes from 3.1 to the new 3.1.2, i keep trying to down load it, but it gets timed out. sometimes it down loads a little bit sometimes a lot.

anything i can try to fix this?

p.s have got up to date itunes

Google the file you need to update it, should be about 313mb and called iPhone2,1_3.1.2_7D11_Restore

Once you have it run itunes plug your phone in wait for it to load etc then hit SHIFT-UPDATE, locate the file you downloaded and your done

This is for windows though the keys are different for mac

Have forund it, but it will not open the file.

don't unzipped it !

Change the filenane to .ipsw and iTunes will recognise it and you should be good to go
