Just noticed I've used 800 MB again this month 2-22 Oct and tested the phone around my house last night and noticed when watching youtube/downloading podcasts and updating apps if the phone drops the wifi it doesn't seem to reconnect and carries on downloading via 3G which is obviously chewing through data....
I'm trying here to find a way for the phone to message me when it loses the wifi connection so I can cancel the updates.
My internet connection is weak in some parts of the house and I presume it's dropping the signal and then carrying on in 3G since the signal is stronger.
However I can't continue using all my dataplan on downloading stuff at home
Any suggestions or tip for this. Would be great if on dropping wifi it paused the download to wait for my ok to continue on 3G!

Worth giving sales a call as well (0800 number on their website) and enquiring about offering you a bit of a discount. They offered me the £15.90 deal for £12.90 with £15 credit, making that £9.90 for five months. Going to call them back and take them up on that! Added onto the fact I get 4Mbit/s average in the area that they say has bad signal, and around an average of 12Mbit/s in medium to strong areas, AND tethering is enabled if I'm desperate and need to be a bit cheeky and use it, there is literally nothing on this network to hate!
