iPhone 5S unresponsive

this is the 2nd time its happened. When I'm using my phone, nothing works. I click on say the Clock and nothing happens. I press the Home and Lock buttons and nothing happens. When the phone auto locks, the screen goes black and it does not display anything. Sometimes if I hold the Home button i can hear Siri but nothing on the screen.

The only fix is to wait until the phone runs out of battery and then charge it back up.

Anyone else have the same issue?

I've had something similar in that I've had what looks like a dead phone despite the battery being decently charged up. Holding the home and lock buttons together for around 20secs has made it reboot and it's been fine again.
