I never need to use my s4 one handed, it's in a Spigen sview anyway so to use it I need two hands but I wouldn't dream of using while driving or walking so two hands is great.

I too agree that 5 was not really great just faster processor, a lick of paint etc etc...

Would love it if it had a longer battery life. My z1 can last me a two full day on moderate use. Anything like that is a plus. My previous ip5 cant last me one bus ride to london

If these pictures are real, then why are they discarding the dual flash system that was lauded so much on the iPhone 5S?

The biggest issue they need to crack is battery life - they have all this graphene field work and theory/prototypes yet nobody has implemented it for the public yet...

Prototypes are usually freaks of nature. The dual flash from the 5S should be implemented on the 6, but they might still be working on a finalised design for it, hence why another bit has just been stuck into that case. Either that or fake. :p

Seems like a lot more is going on in iOS8 as well too now, lots of iCould sync, bluetooth LE usage, bigger screen, rumour of it being thinner. Not sure how it well all play out, but battery life is the most important feature now.

Agreed, battery life is king.

I really struggle with my 5S as there is no way I can make it through the day ever.

Rumours flying that the headphone jack is going away in order to make way for lightning port connected accessories instead.

If true, a very ****ish move indeed, not cool Apple.

Apple would be dumb to remove the headphone jack entirely. They're just going to make a MFi certification for iOS devices for headphones.

Even if they bundled it in the box, who wants some stupid clunky connector on the bottom of their phone that they also have to carry around on their person just to use headphones?

I thought we had moved past that crap, it's something i'd expect from Sony in the 90's.

Oh i was lead to believe they would still have the headphone jack, but this new high quality input would just be the charging slot?

They're probably not going to remove the headphone connector as it's a standard port, and making everyone require an adapter would cause mayhem. Plus, you'd have to choose between charging/syncing/listening to music through headphones. Another no no.

Won't happen as this would require the phone to be considerably thicker than all the leaks suggest.

The headphone jack is ancient technology. If Apple want to get rid of it, they will do and not listen to outcries from Joe Public. Just as they did with floppy discs and CDs, DVDs and Blu-rays.

I don't know much about Bluetooth but why not just use that for headphones? Or maybe they'll include two lightning ports as the phones are now getting wider.

What if it could be thin and have more battery capacity?

It has to have more battery due to the screen size increase, but my point is getting thinner then the iPhone 5/5s is not going to bring any meaningful gain, and they could spend that on even more battery.

Theres seems to be a lot more going on in iOS8, it tracks you a lot more so it can have some apps ready when you need it e.g. when you go into a Starbucks. Huge increase is the amount of sync'ing that is going on with iCloud and so on. Its all going to mean the iPhone 6 as a baseline will need more battery in stand by, and then you add a bigger screen and so on.

I guess will see what happens but I would rather be push towards 2 days battery life, then just bearing making it 1 day.
