I think it's pretty shoddy that companies like Facebook aren't able to get Apps out on the day of release. They must have known about the screen size changes for ages, I see no reason why they couldn't be working on them.

I guarantee things like my Mobile Banking apps will take months too.

Totally loving my 6+. No complaints at all. It will be even better when third party app developers start rolling out optimised versions for the 6+.

Not sure I agree with those saying it's too big. It feels perfect for me now after a day of usage. My iPhone 5 screen and app layout now just looks tiny and compacted in comparison.

It really is a sensational device to use. I must admit to being a little self conscious getting it out in public though but I felt the same way back in 2010 when I first got an iPhone 4 after years using a rubbish old phone.

Anyone else finding the battery draining much faster on their new 6's ?

100% charge today at 8am, by 2pm it was at 4% Admittedly i was using slow mo a good few times, and i did try my hand at a game or two.. But wasn't anything outrageous.

Wondering if anyone else has seen the same ? I've just done a restore network settings in hope that the backup/restore that was put on may have caused a 4G LTE issue, causing it to drain faster than norm.

I've set mine up as a new iPhone. It's the first time in over 4 years I haven't restored from a backup. My battery life has been fantastic today.

If you setup as a new iphone how do you get back all contacts, calendar items etc?

Ive had contacts backed up since ive had an iphone 3g

I'll let you know usage after a full charge tonight as had to plug in to update music today

My contacts are stored in iCloud, I just take them from there. I don't backup from an 'image' of the old phone, just download everything again.

Well for us that have to commute on the Underground every morning, one hand is pretty much taken trying to grab on something. So yea, when I want to scroll through my music or play Candy Crush, being able to use the phone one-handed is a biggie for me.

That's a fair point! Reservations are available again and Space Grey 64GB iPhone 6 can be found at Regent Street today.

I've just reserved a space grey 6 64GB at White City. I'm still undecided though :(

£619 + £79 for AppleCare - £210 for my iPhone 5 = £488 upgrade. Then I still need to buy a new sleeve for it. Not really sure that the expense justifies replacing my iPhone 5.

It's an expensive life buying the latest tech!
