Had a look and everything on there is still set to 'pre-order'. God knows what that is supposed to mean. Surely if they were out of stock, you'd put them as out of stock?

I found it very painless getting my hands on one, just reserved on the apple store Sunday morning and wandered in at my allotted time slot. I guess it depends if you're looking to buy one outright of course.

Nah, I'll be upgrading on my current contract. Would love to go sim free but can't really afford it at the moment.

Finance it yourself. There's credit cards out there with 20 months 0% on purchases. Do the maths and you'll save a couple of hundred quid on going via the networks, get an unlocked phone and you're not tied in to a contract for 2 years so you can move networks whenever you like.

Still no sign of my non-plus 6 64GB SG from EE, despite them promising Monday delivery and taking my money.

Considering we pay these networks generally well, their customer service, particularly the information they provide to customers, is absolutely dreadful at times.

I am gonna go have a feel of a plus tonight, can't upgrade till october 6th so doing some research before blindly diving in as I usually do.

Got my 6 last night, 64GB Space Grey. Love it, was really surprised how big it is, definitely pleased I didn't go with the plus now. Apple leather case is nice as well.

Bought a silicon case with my 6 but I think it makes it too big.....plus it's too grippy making it difficult to get out of my jeans pocket!

Think I will just do what I did with all iPhones before, no case at all.

Another possible factor is that iphones are aluminium against the large majority of others being plastic and the plastic more readily regains its straight shape.

That's akin to saying that plastic is a suitable material to build phones with and that in this role aluminium may not be premium, would titanium be an suitable alternative?
