No more than my 5 did, seeing as it was restored from a backup of that with all the same apps/settings

Fair point, my mistake for assuming. Might be worth jail breaking to get a more detailed layout of usage, including all iOS background items that you can't see as default.

Couple of screenshots so you can see what I mean

Better for trouble shooting :) Imo

Decided to get the phone through vodafone as I can get an employee discount from a friend. I'm keen on a 64gb and they have no stock of those in any colour. They had 128gb and 16gb. Decided to wait for 64gb. I've left my number with them. Just need to decide on a case. Looking at Spigen neo hybrid metal or Rock Arc slim guard. I have a wallet case at the moment which I like. Can't see any for the 6 that have good reviews at the moment.

I have the neo hybrid metal in red on my 6, and I'm very pleased. It does add a fair bit of bulk in comparison to some other cases, but it is very grippy and feels quite premium with the aluminium band

The 6 Plus is an absolute beast of a phone-especially the battery life. Got the 64gb Space Grey version on Wednesday and have to say that I'm glad Apple finally got their act together and went with the larger screened phones.

Can't imagine I'd ever go any smaller than 5.5" for a phone now.

I like the 4.7" iPhone 6 that I got, I think the full 5.5" could be lovely when they're able to shrink the bezel more.

Shave a bit off the left and right and remove the massive space at the top where the speaker is.

The touch ID sensor will be the tough bit. Will they ever be able to integrate it beneath the display so they can finally remove the space at the bottom too?

Yeah the top/bottom bezels are a pain, even for the iPhone 6, its much larger then say the Moto X 2013 with the same sized screen.

Not sure how the screen would work since I believe its basically a camera that takes an extremely high detailed photos (500+ PPI) and then uses maths to figure out patterns in whatever it sees and matches it to its current database. Main reasons you could use your nipples or anything else for touchID. Would be a tricky one, but I'm sure it could be done just a matter of how much it costs and if it makes sense for them and their users.

I changed my mind on the neo hybrid. I've gone for the Capsule in clear. Also a Spigen glas.tr screen protector. Just need the phone now. ;)

Got a 64gb 6 Plus on the way, got an ok deal of unlimited calls and texts and 5GB data for £30.60 a month and £129.99 for phone. Can get £90 for my 4S as it's unlocked too so not a bad upgrade at all.
Ordered a Spigen Tough Armour Gunmetal case to go with it and tempted to get Applecare+ as this will cover me insurance wise (despite never having broken a phone).

That is very cheap. I'm getting that with an employee discount from vodafone for less data. Who are you getting that through?

EE with F&F discount from when my GF worked there, that is the price for the £50.99 tariff after my 40% off. I didn't realise how cheap it was actually until earlier when I priced up buying he phone and having a £12 a month sim only.

Same for me. Mine will be cheaper than buying the phone and contract seperately. Don't get a discount on the upfront payment for the phone unfortunately.

Guy anyone getting a bug when unlock phone and then the screen is upside down and quickly flicks round to normal orientation?

I get this and its very annoying.

Sometimes mine doesn't want to flip back to the correct orientation unless I put it into landscape first then hold it back upright in portrait.

Is it a known bug or just a feature that is meant to happen?

got my 6 plus, i was in to minds about going for it over the 6, but now really wish i had opted for the 6. but i'll keep it as the screen is a big plus when using tomtom app.

dont suppose there is a decent rugged case for it?
