I'm in a long-distance relationship and there's an app called Couple where you can "thumb kiss" but that's about as cheesy as I'd like to get :D

That's my point, the amount of people you are that close to, to be able to have that kind of secret code, what use of that is very limited. by the time he drew that fish, I would've written "sushi for lunch?" on my phone.

. I haven't really looked into other smartwatches so I don't know whether they require a specific phone or platform to accompany them, but it's excluding a lot of potential owners by not allowing other phone platforms to work with it

you probably should have. the android watches all need android (and i would guess upto date versions)

they use the phones gps hardware etc

I think it's quite useful - if I'm in a meeting or something it's going to be much easier to send a sneaky message like that than typing one out on the phone in front of everyone.

The fitness tracking aspect is pretty impressive... Which I think it had to be, as this is really what is setting itself apart from the rivals, aside from the more customisation of the watch itself.

If you can bundle the watch in with the phone for some tasty discount I might do it, then flog it on, naturally.
