People on the macrumours forums are pointing to little details that show it's a fake. A good fake though.

Besides, if this guy had someone stolen a fully assembled iPhone 6 would he have even been able to activate it?

Does the charging adapter go completely in so it sits flush with the phone? This sounds very similar to problems I and several colleagues have experienced and you just simply need to clean flint/bits of dirt out of the charging socket with a paper clip or similar.

Not suggesting don't upgrade but it might make your life a bit easier until you do

OP already solved the problem. Was lint.

Wasn't there a case where an iPhone that wasn't released yet was left in a bar from a worker with the phone still working? When Apple found out, the deactivated it. This could be real, but get deactivated shortly.

I hope its fake anyway, god awful design.

If it does look like that, I will seriously question my loyalty to Apple...

I was 100% sure I would upgrade to the 6 when the 5S came out. Now I too am really doubting if I can. It really is so ugly imo compared to other iterations.

If that is real it looks huuge in height compared to some other phones in relation to the screen. Although the bottom is kinda required for the home button and fingerprint scanner.

Look at it compared to the new Moto X

Then again...if all that extra space is jam packed with batter power power and helps to provide kick ass battery, I could be swayed perhaps. Although shorter and fatter would probably be better.

If there's no blinding new features and it's the price is too high on the new one I would consider android. I really like the new OSX/iOS integration though where you can send and receive text messages (and calls) from you laptop. That would be so useful.

Yeah, that was the iphone 4 left in a bar by an apple employee near Cupertino.

I have to admit I rather like that Samsung. I am actively considering my potential move to Android depending on what the iPhone 6 looks like...

Oh yes! I'll still be able to look like I'm doing work in lectures!
It is seriously so much better than before though. Some of the people I text regularly don't have iPhones so before I was never able to use my iPad for messaging these people.
Now the texts come through on there too! :)

Looks horrible! That thick metal bezel makes it look like something from the 80's.

It's better than to look like something from a bathroom.

On another note. So sad to see iphone buyers having no individuality. How you "have" to buy the sad shiny brick apple produces. And "they make a lot of money out of the fact you have no choice".

Although not the money is the problem. I am concerned about your wellbeing, having to use the ugliest most uncomfortable tiny screen iphones. Damn! Thanks to Apple finally giving you normal size screen.

And how after Apple made everyone buy faulty iphones 4 which you had to hold special way in order to receive signal, how it has caught up to have horrid despicable phone cases on your iphones to improve network connection! Because Apple told you so.
If iphone is so beautiful, a piece or art, fashion statement (/sarcasm) why put a piece of tyre around it? Because you can? Or because you can resell it after 2 years and want your £250 back? Or because the awful glass will crack all the time? This has never caught up with jewellery or artworks. Imagine someone wearing a piece of tyre around a gold ring to protect it?

I do like Apple devices and currently own a 2013 MBA and a iPad Air, I did own a iPhone up to and including the 4 but then switched to a SG3 at first simply for the screen size but after getting used to Android I have to say I do prefer it. Yes IOS is fast, clean and just works but it's boring I like the fact I can customise my phone and do whatever I like there's no walled garden!

I'm still using the SG3 now with latest Slimkat Rom and see no reason to upgrade to the latest Android or Apple Phone. I'm at the point now where my phone does everything I could possibly want a phone to do so why spend £600 on better specs.

If you have a phone that does everything you want it to do, you should stick with it.

Buying the latest and greatest shiny thing just because it offers a slight spec boost has always struct me as a waste if money.

All of your comments are totally subjective. I may be in a minority here, but I am certainly in no rush for a larger screen as I don't really do anything that would warrant it.
