What i don't understand why did they put the 6 with a 4.7" screen with the same PPI as the 5s which has a 4", it needed a slightly higher rez/ppi for the bigger screen.
It has a higher resolution, but at the same PPI. So, it fits a little bit more on screen, at the same clarity. This is what most people want as the vast majority cannot see the pixels on a 326 PPI retina display and don't want interface elements such as buttons to be any smaller.

I know that it's out there somewhere but I was wondering if somebody could help me out.

I am currently using a BlackBerry Z10 which is great. I get instant push notifications for all 11 of the Gmail accounts I use.
How would this work on an iPhone as I am thinking about switching over. Last time I read there was a 5 account limit for the Gmail iOS app

I use the app called Mailbox for iOS. I think you can have multiple accounts in that. Not sure about a limit though.

This is just strange.

Why? I think that's why the majority of people upgrade their iPhones to the latest model. Especially those on a 5/5S. It's hardly worlds apart from them, it doesn't do anything amazing that the previous model can't, but it looks nice and is a bit faster (for loading your Facebook newsfeed that extra bit faster...)

Only reason I upgraded was because it was the latest and greatest from Apple, same as I've ended up with every model on the day of release

If you can afford it then why not? :)

iPhone 6’s A8 processor runs at 1.2GHz, while the iPhone 6 Plus clocks in at 1.39GHz, according to GeekBench. Both phones appear to have the same 1GB of memory as last year’s devices.

Depends if you have music on your phone. I personally couldn't go back to a 16 as I found myself having to delete apps to update existing apps sometimes, or delete music/photos/videos to make room for new music/photos/videos. Did my head in.

Also, as apps and games get more complex, they take up far more room on install or overtime

This, it becomes a pain to micro manage things on 16gb if you tend to carry any sort of media of games. I had the same issue where I would need to delete games all the time, remove photos/videos and so on. 32gb is the sweet spot was really hoping the base device would move too that.

Sure, of course you can afford it (although there are plenty of people who say "ooh I can't splash out £600 in one go so I'm going to sign up to a ridiculously overpriced contract" who probably could use the money better, but that's a different discussion :p).

I just don't feel like 'having the latest technology' is a very rational goal in itself. Particularly the guy who posted earlier saying he actually preferred the smaller screen!

The reviews seem overwhelmingly positive for both models. I think iOS 8 notification screen widgets might prove very popular and particularly useful on the iPhone 6 Plus. I'm guessing you'll be able to fit more on screen.

As long as I can get the Plus in my pocket relatively comfortably I'll be very happy I think. Answering calls in public might feel a bit odd at first though due to its size but the more it's used the less of a 'statement' it will come across as at first!

There a couple of guys here at work who must have the latest one, yet the regularly use payday loans to get them through the month. lol

Indeed, rave reviews pretty much everywhere. There doesn't seem to be a big difference between the two phones. The camera and battery life are better on the Plus, but not by enough that it forces you to buy it (if you can't manage the size), which is good I suppose.

I want to try them both out before deciding, but I'll most likely get the 6+.
