RE: the camera hump. It's not noticeable unless you look directly at it. The phone doesn't rock on surfaces and appears to lie flat.

Games are awesome on the 6 Plus, as I expected. Typing is much nicer and more accurate on the bigger screen too. A bit of lag here and there (Safari particularly), but I put that down to iOS 8 rather than the phone.
 
Seriously tempted to just get a 20 month 0% credit card through halifax or tesco to spread the payment without being on a contract as I'm sim free anyway. I have the money to buy one so I'm not risking buying something I can't afford but I feel much better spreading the cost :D
 
Picking my 6 from Apple highcross this afternoon. Just looked on Twitter and the queues look insane. Does anyone know if there's a separate queue for people who reserved and people who have just turned up?
 
Collected mine this morning from Basingstoke Apple Store, had a reservation so only had to queue about 20minutes in a dedicated queue. There was maybe 50 people in the main queue and most had been there a loooong time!

Picked up the official leather case for it, but not convinced so that might be being returned!

Basingstoke had a separate queue, assume that's the same for all stores. Just make sure you are there in your hour, and check in as the guy who checked me in was saying the people in the main queue are being allocated the reserved ones that people don't turn up for in their slot.
 
Should be getting my 6+ today from EE.

I wonder if there's any chance of being able to pop into the Apple store after work and buy a 6+ case? I suspect they'll going to sell like crazy today as most people will get one when they buy the phone.

Cases don't usually sell out...
 
Apple store in Southampton (West Quay) had a queue of several hundred people at 9am when I walked past them all to collect my pre-order :D

By the time I left at around 9:30am (had some other bits and bobs to do) the queue had got a lot shorter but was still ridiculous. Apple employees serving them all coffee/tea which was quite nice I thought.

I like my 6, glad I didn't go for the 6+ because it is just too big IMO (and I have reasonably large hands). The 3rd-party devs need to fix the resolution issues with their apps, other than that it is all good :)
 
Hmmm mines only showing the same info it did yesterday with ups, no out for delivery although it says delivery today so not convinced atm if it will come today.

Thanks. My slot is 3-4. Will be interesting to see how many people are still there... And how exhausted the staff are
 
6+ 64gb arrived :D. It's big, but not as much of a shock actually as going from HTC Desire -> GS3 was!

First time using iPhone, is there anyway to make it tidy lol? How do I remove the useless default apps? Can I get the default Mail client to work with Gmails Primary/Social/Promo inboxes?

Also, why can't I change the text size in apps? You can tell all the apps have been made for the 4" screen as Facebook for example is hilariously big! The text is massive. I've changed it in settings to as small as it goes but it doesn't seem to make a difference?

They haven't been updated for the new screen sizes yet. If you select the zoomed display size during setup everything will be like that.

As for tidying, hold an icon and drag onto another and a folder will be made. You can rename it and add more to it.
