The metal either side of the headphone jack has split too. Gutted.

I want to get the Iphone 6 Plus, but these reports of the phones bending is seriously putting me off. Has this happened to a lot of people there? Does anyone know if Apple are doing anything to correct the issue?

I have said it a number of times now and yes I may be just one lone voice here. However, I think the 5s is a better, more robust phone.

Iphone 6 landed on the 9th and just activate it this afternoon

Fantastic handset , really impressed coming from the 5.

Recommend the tempered glass protector. Solid

Well, after considering a sony Z3c stuck with Apple and took the plunge with a 6. Whats best to do with my 5s? Only two months old but I'm not sure I'd get it's worth form a phone recycler?

Keep the 5s so that when you sell the 6 in a couple of weeks you'll have something to use while waiting for your next phone to arrive! ( Note 4 / Nexus 6 etc etc )

I've ordered the Spigen Slim Armor which on their website said Pre-order so assuming they're currently out of stock which isn't an issue as the 6+ isn't due until end of October... the wait is killing me though.

I've ordered the Spigen Slim Armor which on their website said Pre-order so assuming they're currently out of stock which isn't an issue as the 6+ isn't due until end of October... the wait is killing me though.

Had a bad experience when I bought a Spigen for my current IP5 - it arrived missing the power button insert in the bumper and repeated emails to the UK supplier along with photos of what I was trying to describe resulted in them sending me covers for the home button - so I vowed I would never buy a damn thing from them ever again. Just so I've got one ready I bought a cheap but well-reviewed gel jobbie off Amazon - feels a bit ***** putting a £600 phone in a £5 case, so I'll probably end up getting one of the official Apple black leather ones, which my boss has got on his 6 and it looks the nuts. Also a handy excuse to go and geek out in the Cambridge Apple Store!

Simples - with a car that needs work doing on it to get through the MOT can't justify splurging £600-£700 on a phone, so mine's on order from 3, who I'm moving to after two years of no 3G on Vodafone.

Rural Buckinghamshire has no stock locally, and after a drive over to Milton-Keynes they only had the Silver 128Gb in stock. I am happy to wait for a 64Gb Space Grey although what is this reserving in store you speak of?

This, the site updates at 12:05am and then periodically throughout the day with stock updates.

Just pick the phone that you want in the store that you want and the time slot you can pick it up. Saves driving to the store to chance it.

I basically decided one evening I wanted one, someone here told me that link on Monday, that evening there wasn't any in my local branch but there was the next evening and had a phone on Wednesday.

Reservation site appears to fly under the radar. It even had plenty of stock on pre-order day. 11pm on Friday the online store was quoting 4+ weeks delivery and had been since 10am. I clicked that link and reserved the one I wanted for collection on launch day, everything was in stock apart from a couple of the 6 plus models.

I know, not sure why that is as in store there is a sign that says "reservation pick up" when I went to the Cardiff branch.

The truth is I could've got one the same day i wanted one if I could be bothered to drive there as opposed to waiting an extra day and pick it up in the one near work.

There are no shortages of these around direct from Apple.
