iPhone 6S random shutdown

Also suffering the same issue, phone is covered under recall

I managed to get an appointment to get my battery changed, however the local Apple store have run out of replacement batteries & are on backorder :(

Does anyone know how long this program lasts for?
I don't fancy going to an appointment only to find they've run out of batteries.
I may just wait until next year when things are quieter.

It takes a couple of hours if they have the batteries in stock and they have techs available to do the work.

I had to wait until it came into stock, then go back again and drop it off with them for a couple of hours.

Seems they're low on batteries so might be worth calling ahead or seeing if you can get them to order one over the phone if it's a big journey to get into the store.

Could potentially save you an extra journey.

Put my phone in today for it's battery to be changed

Ended up with a replacement phone after they took 3 hours trying to replace the battery in my phone

Thats what I had to do as well, bit of a faff really.

Queue to speak to someone, wait 30 minutes to speak to someone else to get an appointment.

Wait 10 days for an e-mail to say my batteries arrived and given 5 days to go back to the store or they'll offer the battery to some else!!

Queue to speak to someone, wait 15 minutes for someone to take my phone, wait 3 hours for them to repair my phone, queue to speak to someone, wait 10 minutes for them to return my phone!

Certainly a bit of an effort but have to say my batteries 10x better since having it replaced, I used to have to turn the bluetooth off to make it last whilst at work which sort of defeated the object of having an Apple watch!

Just to update put my phone in for repair they said it normally takes a hour and a half but with it being quiet said to come back in a hour.

Went back in a hour phone was done but wouldn't switch back on so just gave me a replacement phone, can't complain with that.
