iPhone- Am I to late now?

I really would wait. I've been reading things about a 16gb iPhone at MacWorld. (Due to the release of the SDK).

Yeah I've been meaning to ask you guys; how do you go on with data usage? With the o2 contracted you get "unlimited" net data. Now, I wouldnt be a heavy web user with the iPhone but I would like to use email on it and visit the odd website. Would this work out very expensive on a PAYG sim? I don't really like mobile phones so my knowledge isn't up to much. :o

I'm really considering an iPhone but can't justify the contract price. If its as easy as you guys say it is to unlock then I might go for it.

No problems, glad it helped you :)

About EDGE, you cannot use that on PAYG, only on contract, so don't bother with the bold on.

Right, so a PAYG sim is no use if you want to browse the web and use email?

What about a pay-monthly sim? I had a look on the o2 site and I can get the Online 15 sim-only which is 400 texts/200 minutes + the 200mb web bolt on for £22.50pm

This way, it saves me £12.50pm and I'm not tied into an 18 month contract.

Please highlight any obvious flaws in my plan. :D

Ypu can still browse the web and mails because you can use Wi-Fi, but if you mean on EDGE then no, but you can configure GPRS some how although it's painfully slow.

Yeah, the contract will way work (I think).
