there's a mapmyrun application that you can use and sync with a free mapmyrun.com account. I had it but realised that I will never run with my iphone (too big and heavy) so its pointless.
RunKeeper does the same as mapmyrun but I had a problem with mapmyrun in that the application required me to put my password in every time, it just wouldn't remember it. Because all my passwords are 15-20 random characters it was a bit of a pain so that's why I stuck with RunKeeper.
I use 'Trails' for cycling, can be used for walking, running etc also. You can upload your tracked routes to EveryTrail.com. Have a look at it here I highly recommend it.
