iphone app purchase question....

Hi,

Currently have an iphone 4, and if all goes well getting a 5s soon !

Just wondered when I get the 5s, do I just sign into it with my standard itunes account, and will it let me re-download my paid for apps, or would I have to pay for them again ??

I will eventually wipe the 4 once i've confirmed all my settings and stuff have moved across,

I tend to back up my phone my pc and then once my new phone arrives and go through the setup options, I miss out the WiFi details and this asks me to connect to ITunes, once connect I select the restore option from my last backup.

Or you can do it via the ICloud which I never done, but all your paid apps will be brought across.

thanks, don't really want to do a restore as i'd prefer a fresh new setup, rather than bring across all my old settings.....

... worried it might slow down my phone

Apple allows you to install the app onto 5 devices at the same time, so no you don't have to repay for the app... Upgrades for the apps are free too..

The only time that's not the case is if the makes of the app decides to re submit the app under a different name.

If your getting rid of your old iPhone, make sure you deactive it from your iTunes as an authorised device.

Can you deactivate a device, I new you could do this with computers as I had to use the reset all computers last year!

Sorry your limited to 5 computers, but I've just read that you can have up to 10 devices. If you go to preferences, then devices; theres an option to delete that device from your itunes account.
