iphone apps not loading

I have just started to have an app that will not load. It starts with the splash screen then just disappears.
I have tried re-installing, deleting and re-syncing and restarting the phone all with no luck. I have read that this is not a new thing and whilst googling found a few recommended fixes they all seem to be doing what i have already tried. Does anyone know how to fix this? The only thing that i have not tried is to delete the app from phone and itunes then reset the phone, re-install from backup then download the app again and try that......
 
nah, not jailbroken, just bogo standard iphone 3g. Kinda just ignoring it as it's only one app and not effecting my life, it it persists then i will start throwing things around ! ;)

But, if anyone know why and how to fix this then i would be interested for future ref.
 
  1. Delete the app on the phone
  2. Delete the app on the computer
  3. Now download the app on iTunes on the computer
  4. Connect the phone to the computer (this will install the app)

If that doesn't work try a full restore of the iPhone firmware.

Also ensure you have the latest version of iTunes installed before you begin.
 
Try downloading an entirely different app... and see if that works. Then go back to the faulty app!

I have seen reports of this defeating a variety of niggly app errors.
 
is the app Whatsapp?
Mine is constantly crashing when I load it, tried uninstalling then putting it on again, no result.
