iPhone Case

funny about the Griffin clear doing that and mohinder going back to a rubber case. Ages I ordered a "incase" from Apple, its just a bog standard rubber case but i never use it as i like my griffin reflect. Anyway, one night i thought i give it a try as i paid like £20 for it so might as well see how it looks and feel. That was 2 weeks ago and i haven't took it off since.

I too had the Incase Rubber case, it was such a good case.

However, after reading a lot of reviews about the case scratching the bezel (on various sites) I took it off and gave it to my brother.

If you aren't planning on taking it off then it's superb, and definitely the best rubber case you can buy as it doesn't add / adds minimal bulk.

I didn't like it because I liked to dock my iPhone, and it's only possible via a cable with the case on :(

The Incase Rubber scratches the metal bezel (over time).

I guess it's the lip/edge of the rubber that micro-moves over the bezel and causes little scratches.

Do a Google, or search Mac Rumors and you'll find many threads. It is a good case, but once you put it on you'd have to keep it on, which is why I gave mine away.

The incase cover scratches the chrome by getting little bits inbetween the rubber and the iphone, they then rub together, i have one and my iphone is not too bad but i do wash the case every few days :)

In fairness you do find a reason to change nearly every single bit of your Apple related kit within three months of buying it :p

Tbh, if i got a scratch on the back or bezel, it would annoy me, but then i'd live with it.
But any on the screen....:mad::p

See post above (Re: OCD) ;)

..but yes, you are correct.

I don't plan on taking it off :) i got a touch anyway, dunno how much difference that makes.

Don't worry then, the Incase cries quality.. it's a great case, very sleek :)

Just took the plunge! So which case is the best then? :)

I want something which gives access to everything, looks smart and feels good!

I'd have to recommend the Incase Rubber Case.

It's the best balance of price vs. protection vs. minimal bulk added.

I have a clear incase rubber case and recommend it if you don't mind the look it gives the iphone. For a fact no iphone cases atm can compliment the look of the iphone, it looks so much better on it's own, but of course we need to protect our nice toys. I have also ordered an invisibleshield full body protection (going for half price atm), it has lifetime guarantee of scratch proofness, so I think I will try it without a case and just with the invisible shield on.
If you want an incase rubber case I'd recommend going to the o2 store to get it, in apple its about £20 for one, in O2 its £6.99 for 2. No brainer.
