iPhone insurance - who?

Hi All,

I've decided to insure my new iPhone.

Apologies if this is covered somewhere, I've done a search but not got an answer.

O2 want £10 a month, a google search returns lots of companies that sound dodgy.

So has anyone got insurance? Who with? Have you claimed and was it OK? How much?

It might be covered on your home insurance. Mobiles are included on a lot of them.

One with LLoyds and the other First Direct and both do

I got it for £39 for the year as part of my student insurance.

The added bonus was accidental damage for £9 as part of the whole deal for my Macbook Pro, Mac Pro, D-SLR, etc

Checked out home insurance and it's covered with £100 excess.

Which I can live with.

I've got mine insured with O2 Insure which I took out at £7.50 a month when I bought the contract. I'm getting mine replaced today (see here http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18030955) so I'll report back if it all goes seamlessly!
