iPhone Jailbreak 1.1.3 Released

Ahhhhh to have an original standard iPhone, think I must be the only one! haha. :p

(Except I had to have it replaced, and the guy said it was 'something' I loaded):p

Yup, that's what I thought too, tbh not much could go wrong, if it did brick your phone then you can just restore as said above.

I'm going to go ahead and do mine and update the sticky later.

:)

Im on contract with o2.. Can I do this without breaking my phone..

Can I revert the phone to its manfucatured state and re'install a official 1.1.3 update again?

If I understand you correctly, you have an official iPhone contract, yes?

Try the jailbreak, and if all goes wrong just do a recovery/restore in iTunes and you'll be back to normal, with no trace of the crack :)

Not sure if you've already upgraded to 1.1.3, but the process is much easier if you're going from 1.1.2 as *1.1.3 adds a modem firmware that cannot be downgraded.

*No to be mistaken.. You can downgrade the iPhone software (1.1.3->1.1.2), but the modem firmware that's installed with 1.1.3 will stay the same and you'll have an expensive iPod Touch (phone features won't work) if you try to stay on 1.1.2.. essentially you have to think of 1.1.3 as a one-way thing.

As said above though, if it's official then you just do a restore in iTunes and you'll be back on the official 1.1.3 firmware anyway.
