iPhone price cuts?

18 month contract, not 24. Unlimited data, free access to O2's hotspots, BT Openzone's hotspots and "The Cloud" hotspots, reduced International calling rates and roaming rates. 1200 minutes, 500 texts, free iPhonr 3G.

£45 month is not bad at all imo :)
Mybad, Why do they have the exact same tariff twice, one with 24 month contract and one with 18 month contract? eh.

The problem with the things you've quoted is that most people will never use roaming or hotspots, or rarely I'm sure any savings made with international roaming would easily be covered by the £250 saved by being with T-Mobile.

Again, you may like it yourself, but it is a bad plan, or at the very least it's not a good plan.

Why is it that owners of G1's/HTC/Blackberries etc are so obsessed with the iPhone?

We arent...we are just fed up of having you apple fanbois trying to tell us how the iphone is the best thing since sliced bread...wow apple finally decided to give the iphone MMS and video recording...ermmm kinda late arent they??...those features have been available on even the basic phones for a number of yrs. Even the welcome addition of cut n paste has been available on most smartphones for a very long time.
I like the iphone but despise Apple and how they 'force' you to do things their way..and now they have deemed that jailbreaking or unlocking your phone is now illegal:rolleyes:.

Dont get me wrong, i think the iphone is great for people who are media whores in all honesty but it narks me off when they try to push it as a business device...its not...not even the addition of cut n paste makes its a business phone...still no multi tasking available as well...which makes me wonder why people think the apple OS is the best OS out there??...for media yes it is...business and communication??...nope not a chance in hell, best device for that is the Blackberry.

Snap, pretty much anyway. It's because iPhone users seem to think their phone is so far ahead of anything else, then the other smartphone users take them down a peg or two as they have experience with them.

IMO the iPhone should be dropped in price to around £200-300, like a better quality 5800, it doesn't compete with the true smart phones.:)

The extra £200-300 on top of that price seems to be the Apple tax, which I guess is fine, as there are enough macbook toting apple suckers, sorry fans, to buy them.:p

Exactly if it was priced at £200-300 id pick one up in a heartbeat as web browsing for me on the iphone is superb...although my Magic comes a close second...

But sadly O2 and Apple deem it fit to be sold at stupidly stupidly extortionate prices...the funny thing is that my sis in law in Canada will be getting the new iphone at end of the month...and she pays £100 for her upgrade when shes only had her iphone 3G less than a yr!!!...yep UK is getting mightily shafted here good and proper.

I can have any phone I want for free (whenever I want it) and I don't have to worry about contract prices. I choose to have an iPhone because for me and my purposes it is by far the best phone I've used. If something better does come along then I'll swap immediately - I'm no Apple 'fanboi' :).

What all you people forget is that Apple/O2 wouldn't charge it if people wouldn't pay for it. It is priced according to market, and the market has justified its price given the iPhone sales numbers in the UK :)
IDD, Steve Jobs emits a subliminal signal that simple says "love apple". It doesn't work on everyone though, it just makes me buy about 10 apples per day.

Get an iPod touch, less than £200, and gives you nearly all the features of the iPhone for less money. :) Works really nicely in addition to your HTC/nokia/bb/etc...

I already have one and yes its superb for mp3s and the odd game here or there...and its also pretty handy when im at home on my wifi so i can browse the net.

iPhone on PAYG, then wacked in my orange sim with, 600mins, unlimited text, unlimited internet and 10 MMS msgs. For £35 a month.

Needed a new phone, and altho im not a fan of apple the iphone seemd to offer the best stuff for the money (Admitidly you do have to JB it) 3g 16g.

Said it in all the other iphone posts, i realy dont see why people would upgrade from an 3g to a 3gs. The 3.0 update is the only half decent thing apple announced, and all iphones get that, so why waste extra money? If you dont have a iPhone, or upgrading from a 2g then fair enough, other wise send the money that you clearly have to much off my way :D

Better camera with autofocus, video and editing features (technically tho, 3G is capable of at least two of the three features, but Apple will not unlock those functions in OS or none of you would upgrade to 3GS). Faster CPU and graphics. Voice dialing (yes, voice dialing, as in - that thing every business Nokia has since deep ninenties of the last century). Yours for just $299 more.
