Hi all,

Have a US 1.1.4 Ziphoned jailbroken/everything.

Now this has happened before, normally a reset sorts it. But basically my phone isn't outputting any sound, it sort of crashed when I tried to send a text.

When people ring me it just vibrates and I can't hear them but they can hear me.

Any suggestions folks? I would try restoring but thats not an option till I get home tonight :(

Hmm...we have a problem.

Borrowed a workmates Powerbook. Restored the phone, ran Ziphone and it failed half way through. So I unplugged the cable and now I just have a page with white text all over it - if I plug it in iTunes or Ziphone doesn't pick it up.

Any ideas? :(

I had an issue where I did simular ages ago, back when there were harder to crack, I just couldnt get iTunes to recognise it so I couldnt restore it.

In the I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, then that picked it up, do a restore and re unlock

Well I held the home and sleep/wake button to reset it, it went through the Ziphone process again and now I have my phone back :)

It's blank because I didn't sync the contacts and messages properly but if I can remember the number I can make a call at least! :p will have to wait I get home to resync to get my contacts back and stuff.

yeah you might need to put it into the other restore mode DFU i think its called?

Why?

The phone is working as it should, it's been unlocked and jailbroken and activated. It rings and can receive txt messages. DFU is for restoring your firmware irrc.

does not sound like its working as it should

no sound and all
