iPhone quick question - help please!

Hey guys,

So I'm going to sell my 5 and get a 6...

I want to make sure all my contacts are saved on my iCloud / SIM but when I go to back-up my contacts via iCloud, there are still only a few there.

Now I've into my phone and gone to contacts > groups and there are two options

All iCloud
All on my iPhone

Now... could anyone please tell me how I can make sure the contacts which are under 'All on my iPhone' will be on my iPhone 6?

Please note I will be putting my SIM from the 5 straight into the 6.

Also, music and photos.... I don't like having my photos on my cloud (all my nudes lolz) so i guess the only way to ensure I keep these is by putting them on my macbook?

For the photos can you not just run a backup within iTunes (locally to the PC) and then restore that when you get the new phone. All pictures etc... are included in the backup.

Good idea on the iTunes backup for photos - I can then just plug the new iPhone in to my macbook and they'll go straight on the new one

Would be great to get clarification on the contacts please.

The local iTunes backup would copy contacts over as well I think.
