iPhone signature stripping out images

Hi,

Issue with mail signatures on iPhone 12. Any image that I put into a mail signature on my iPhone is being stripped out. This is being copied from an email on the phone and giving the phone a shake to undo format changes.

Driving me mad so any help would be appreciated.
