Iphone sim tray quick question

[Rudeboy1]

Hello guys,

Quick question, my friend lost his sim tray on his iPhone 7, I have a old iphone 5, will the sim tray fit from the 5 or not?

Thanks

Try it?

Not likely

I'd expect it to fit honestly. It means apple dont need to redesign it every time, but I wouldn't take it for granted.

Even if it did fit you'll lose your water resistance.

The 7 has rounded edges and the 5 has flat so I don't thing it's going to be flush even if it fits.

Doesn't fit properly and they're £6 from the rainforest.

OcUK don't sell iPhone SIM trays so you're allowed to say Amazon.

How did he lose it? Those things are stubborn to get out... Or it flew out of his fingers?

Nope. 7 and 7+ are different to all the previous iPhones due to the water seal.
