iPhone software unlocked OOTB 1.1.2 and 1.1.3

The man GeoHot strikes again and gives us a OOTB 1.1.2 and also 1.1.3 software unlock!!

Think you can do it in 1.1.2 by using v-term and airplane mode rather than having to downgrade firmware to 1.0.2 and all that malarkey.

I'm a bit confused. Does this means that 1.1.3 OTB can now be jail-broken? Or does this mean any SIM can now be used in 1.1.2 and 1.1.3

It means 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 OOTB can be unlocked to use any sim.

1.1.3 OOTB can be jailbroken, think you have to downgrade then softupdate? Not too sure about 1.1.3 as I'm still on 1.1.2

Hmm, maybe I should keep my T-Mobile contract if this works.

Just started a new Simplicity £15 + £7.50 web bolt-on with O2. However, I was on Flext 20 Web'n'walk (with 25% off), which I could now get at £12.50 all in per month, as T-Mob were offering to knock off a further £10/month if I didn't get a new handset from them.

If this is confirmed in the next couple of days, I'll cancel my number porting to O2!

I'm so glad he found this, the dev team were begining to wind me up with all there BS, especially Zibri and his pictures clues and this pees on his bonfire

quite close to getting this working but most of the methods require 102 which I cannot/don't know how to jailbreak.

I want to give this a go but what does BL stand for? When I bought mine it was 1.1.2... does this mean I can try?

BL stands for boot loader, 1.1.2 is your firmware version. If it is a UK iPhone it has bootloader 4.6 which means you can try.

Yeah mine is a UK iPhone... and it's been jailbreaked on 1.1.2.

Think I should give it a shot?
