Hey

For some reason I can't connect to my home network anymore. It used to work (a few weeks ago) but suddenly it's decided to fail! Even after searching, nothing is displayed and it just searches and searches to no avail... even other networks are not detected, and nothing is picked up when stood right next to my router?! All other devices work (including laptops, a PS3 and... another iPhone!). I haven't even see the wi-fi icon along the top of the screen in weeks, although the O2 Web & Wi-Fi Bolt-on continues to work?

Cheers.

What have you tried so far, save us listing one's you've done.

Or....go to the apple store.

Searching for wi-fi for ten minutes, stood next to the router.
Enabling and renabling wi-fi, turning iPhone on and off.
Entering SSID of network rather than searching, and entering pass-key (still doesn't find the network).
Trying apps which I know have worked wirelessly before.
Updated firmware (tried before and after).
Verified pass-key and SSID (set up a wireless printer which works fine, so I know I've entered that correctly).
Used other iPhone which connects to the router with no problems (like mine used to).

:(

Had exactly this 2 weeks ago.
Took it to Apple store they swapped it then and there. Wifi unit was faulty, apparently not an uncommon fault.

I sent mine back to Apple for this exact reason and it came back even worse (mangled 30 pin dock connector)

Take pictures of the handset before you send it off!

Go in-store is the best thing, get it sorted there and then.
Seems to be a common fault with the new software release also.

Thanks for this. :)

Edit: better to go to Apple than O2? I got the phone from O2.

Yes, straight to the Apple Store, they will deal with the issue on the spot. O2 will simply tell you to do without the phone for anything up to 14 working days while they send it off for repair

I agree with the above posts.. I went into the Apple store yesterday as my iPhone was doing exactly the same - no wifi. Got a brand new one :)
